Au festival d’Épinal, j’ai découvert une petite maison d’édition basée près de Nançy qui mérite un billet d’encouragement : Les Éditions du Moule-à-Gaufres. Anick Lilienthal et Jean-Michel, tous les deux artistes, ne semblent motivés que par la passion de la BD. Ils publient de jeunes auteurs qu’ils aiment dans des styles très variés et du monde entier – magie de l’Internet. Collectifs et albums solos sont à découvrir dans leur catalogue petit mais costaud.
Divins mortels – Wouzit
Je leur ai acheté un album par curiosité. Le dessin post Brughera ou Lisa Mandel – en fait, j’ignore totalement les origines de ce genre de graphisme – m’a accroché l’oeil et la thématique est rigolote : raconter la mythologie grecque de façon décalée. Les Dieux boivent des coups au troquet et Prométhée cherche à sauver l’Humanité. La plus drôle, c’est quand même celle de Dédale qui ne supporte pas ne plus être le Plus Grand Inventeur du monde. À noter une très jolie préface de Thomas Mathieu.
Le Petit Illustré
Un collectif que l’on m’a offert gentiment avec des histoires qui ne se ressemblent absolument pas et les illustrateurs m’ont accroché l’œil.
